| Background: The classic Activision title is updated. This time, Pitfall Harry’s son Jr. must rescue dad from the evil warrior Zakelua. As in the original, you must control your character in a 2D setting and avoid sand traps, scorpions, and all sorts of evil creatures. Now you get a sling shot which you can whip, shoot stones and magical rocks. Throw in some power ups, gold, and other items to collect for good measure.Game Play: This game is a real treat. The concept stays true to the original, but of course with updated graphics, additional enemies such as bats and skeletons. Plus, you now get some weapons. This 2D adventure game does not disappoint, the graphics are good enough and the game flows quickly. Although the game can be challenging, it progresses quickly once you get the hang of it. So you do not necessarily die ever other moment (like Flashback). The special treat of this game is that you can warp into a bonus world of the original Pitfall! This looks exactly like the original. Way to go! I highly recommend this game.
