| Background: A classic game for the Jaguar. This is what gaming is all about! This adaptation of the classic arcade game gives you three game play modes including original, 3D, and Virtual. The original is a standard port, 3D jazzes it up and you can see the missiles coming down at your cities. Virtual is a unique adaptation which moves the setting to under water, on the clouds, and in space. You also get missiles, lasers, and smart bombs.Game Play: Original mode is a fine adaptation of the arcade game and even includes the title screen of the swirling “Missile Command”. Now you can skip buying that old arcade machine for the basement. 3D is just that giving you a 3D look at missiles coming down and you play until all cities are destroyed. Here you are given missiles which get upgraded as you advance. A neat feature of this mode is looking at the bright sun as missiles rain down. At times the music gets repetitive but you’ll probably die soon anyway. The Virtual mode is my favorite and you can fire lasers, missiles, and smart bombs. Very cool. This game is a long term game where you will continually come back to it and see if you can get a little farther. An Excellent addition to your game library.
