| Background: The classic arcade game comes to your nearest Jaguar CD. No quarters needed! You must “guide” Dirk the Daring to rescue Princess Daphne who was kidnapped by the evil Dragon Singe.Game Play: The port of this game is just excellent and it represents the arcade version just as I remember. As in the arcade you must guide Dirk by choosing his direction and whether or not to use his sword in various settings. So do not expect much control of the character. The graphics are really good and the sound very authentic. The game is really fun and well worth the purchase. At times the game can be frustrating, but the manual tells you how to beat each scenario if you get stuck. Overall, an excellent addition to the CD library. If you like this game, check out Space Ace CD which has similar game play.
