 | Background: “Race for the Checkered Flag behind the wheel of a turbo-powered speedway racer in real-time, 3D-action.” You can race on 10 different tracks for practice (with no other cars), a single race (with up to 5 cars), and a Tournament (race a season on the 10 tracks). You can change the weather, transmission, car color, airfoil, tires, and sometimes number of other racers.Game Play: The 3D graphics are suitable enough and I thought the control is good and simple. One button is the acceleration, another is the brake, and the direction pad is for steering and shifting gears. You can navigate the curves by either using the brakes, laying off the accelerator, or downshifting. When your car crashes it does not explode a la Pole Position but quickly sets itself upright. One criticism I have is the lack of choices in type of car. You can only race a 3D turbo racer. That is it! However, overall this is a solid racing game and gives the Jaguar a decent racing title. A good addition if you like racing titles.
