Genetically engineered bi-peds were invented to play in the savage games.This is a rugby type game where you win by either scoring more points or by killing 6 out of the 7 opponents. Along the way, you can pick up swords, magic potions, shields, grenades, and other powerups.
You can choose to play a single match, best of seven, or a league game with one of 8 teams.Game Play: Although this game has an interesting concept, it leaves much to be desired. The graphics on this game are moderate at best and the music is poor – reminding me of a midi song played out of a one speaker radio. At times the game can be exciting as you run down the field trying to score, but it gets repetitive quite fast. Another problem is that rugby is not very popular in the United States so this game looses its appeal.The powerups and weapons along the way add some excitement and break up the repetition but do not save the game from its many flaws.Pros: occasional stretch of excitement Cons: graphics, sound, repetition
